Barkatullah University, Bhopal has accorded Career College the status of Research Centre in Computer Science. The Centre for Research in Computer Science (CRC) provides holistic support and guidance to enable our scholars to take up research and innovative development relevant to the industry as well as society.

Research Centre Fee Structure

1. Registration Fee: 5000/- (One Time, Non-Refundable)
2. Research Centre Security Money: 5,000 (One Time, Refundable)
3. Identity Card: 200/- (One Time)
4. Research Centre Fess (Including Library Fee + E-Journal Subscription Fees): 18000/- Year.*
5. Research Laboratory Fee: 12,000/- Year **
6. Information Technology Infrastructure Fee: 6,000/- Year *

          Total= 36,000/- Annual

Note:If the Research Scholar apply for extension for their research work after three year and use one of following resources/infrastructure of research centre in this duration than it will be as follows:

1. Research Laboratory Fee: 1000/- Month
2. Library Fee + E-Journal Subscription Fees: 1000/- Month
3. Information Technology Infrastructure Fee: 500/- Month   

         * Compulsory for all faculties. ** Applicable only for Science faculties or where laboratory required.

Recognized Research Supervisors

1. Dr. Sanjeev Gour (Brief Profile)

Dr. Sanjeev Gour pursued Bachelor of Computer Science (Honors) and Master of Science (Electronics & Communication) from Devi Ahilya University Indore and Master of Science (Computer Science) from Barkatullah University Bhopal. He completed his M.Phil.and Ph.D. in Computer Science and is currently working as an Associate Professor and Dean in Department of Computer Science in Career College, Bhopal. 

He is a member of Board of Studies & Examination Committee of Computer Science in Barkatullah University Bhopal, Atal Bihari Bajapi Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, RNTU (AISECT) University, Bhopal and IES University, Bhopal. He is a member of the Managing Committee in Computer Society of India and ACM-Bhopal chapter. He has published more than 21 research papers in - reputed international journals including Thomson Reuters & Scopus, Web of Science and 3 Chapters in Book-Series. He presented/participated in more than 50 national and international conferences/seminars/webinars. His main research work focuses on Data Science (Machine Learning, Data Analytics and Data Mining). He has 20 years of teaching experience and 8 years of research experience. He has published and granted two patents for his research works. He received three awards in academic and research categories. He is member of reviewer/editorial board in 5 journals. He was associated with 19 Academic Institutions and Universities as a member of the academic/examination committee.   

He delivered more than 10 lectures in various educational institutes as subject expert/resource person. He has successfully completed more than 15 online certificate courses from various reputed MOOC platforms like Harvard Business School, SWAYAM, Coursera, Microsoft, Alison, HubSpot-Academy, CISCO and Google. He has completed 38 training courses on educational tools from Microsoft.

He is an approved and recognized Supervisor for Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science by Barkatullah University, Bhopal and is currently supervising 6 students (research scholars).
